The Man of my Dreams
I didn’t know when I said yes, what an incredible man I was marrying. I had no idea what a great provider, protector and presider he would be.
He is ambitious and a hard worker. I appreciate the heroic lengths he goes to provide for our family. Sending out hundreds of resumes when work was lost, being willing to take jobs that were not always enjoyable, and getting up every day to do the same thing over and over. We never had a lot, and I am glad, but we always have enough.
He makes me feel protected. He always opens my door doesn’t matter if we are just going to the gym or on a date he is right there, even when the weather is bad and I wish he would quickly get in out of it. He helps me fight my battles, like going on diets with me even though he really has no need. He encourages me to develop my talents and provides ways that I can do that, like using his surprise bonus to buy me a digital piano.
Best of all he presides over our family. He takes the lead in making sure we are all heading in the right direction. He made sure we read our scriptures daily and made it enjoyable and exciting to learn new insights. He sees and understands how important it is to keeping our family close and encourages and provides ways so that we can get together and makes sure that we take time to teach and encourage each other during those times.
I thought I was marrying the man of me dreams…. But I had no idea then, how well he would fulfill them.

I love this page and want to print it and keep it forever. You and Dad are such a great example of a wonderful couple that both work equally hard to "fulfill each other's dreams!"
